Wilderness Images is excited to offer a new way to present our artwork to our customers. Those of you who have seen Steve’s work at art shows in the past few years have already had the opportunity to see this dramatic frameless presentation. Dramatic, not only due to the large size of the prints (up to 72 inches wide), but also because there is no glass or frame on the image. This removes a barrier between the viewer and the image and allows one to “walk” into the print. When it is hung on a wall, it becomes very much like a window opening onto a beautiful scene. If you have a large space in your home or office and need a big piece, one of these new frameless pieces might just fit the bill.

About the presentation: The print is mounted onto a piece of 1/2 or 3/4 inch gator board and then over-lamination is applied to the print. This laminate not only helps protect the print from damaging UV rays, but also provides protection from fingerprints and allows for gentle dusting of the face of the image. An attractive black edge tape is applied to the exposed edge of the gator board to cover the seam. This final lighter weight piece is hung on walls using a French cleat hanging system and can be attached to the wall with two small screws.

Shipping: Due to the large and fragile nature of these prints, an extra 5% charge will apply to our standard 10% cost for shipping. Of course, you can always pick one up at an art show or at our studio. Also, if Steve happens to be going to your area, he can drop one off at your home or office.
